Installation of new Ex-Com 2011-2012

1st July 2011 was a date to be remembered and recorded in the annals of the Al Khor Toastmasters Club as the

new Ex-Com took over the charge with an oath in the presence of the newly elected Area Governor 69, TM.

Azimuddin and the outgoing AKTM President, TM. Thomas Philip.

This special extraordinary meeting was called with a short notice as many of the ex-com members would be

going on vacation soon and all together would not be available possibly for the next 3 months. It is good to

note that this ex-com has taken over on the first day of the year itself.

The new Ex-com members are:

Usman VP Membership

TM. Ramamirtham, Ganesh VP Public Relations

TM. Justin Divariam Secretary

TM. Marakala, Ramesh Treasurer

TM. Bijay Kumar Behera Sergeant at Arms

The Outgoing President, TM. Thomas Philip invited the declared the meeting open at 3.20 p.m.and welcomed

the Area 69 Governor, TM. Azimuddin and invited him to preside over the oath taking ceremony.

The Area Governor thanked and appreciated the outgoing Ex-Com Committee for their dedicated service and

officially discharged them from their duties. He also briefly highlighted the roles and expectations of the new

Ex-com and wished them the very best.

Upon his call, then each member individually took the oath and promises to execute their duties to the

satisfaction everyone and the growth of the club.

The newly appointed President TM. Madhukara, in his address, reminisced about the past glory of the club

from the time of its inception for the past 9 years and promised with the support of the excom and every

member, to take the club to greater heights.

With the handing over of the President’s Pin, the meeting was adjourned.
