Toastmasters International is a leading movement devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide reality. This movement was started in October 1924 by Dr. Ralph C. Smedley in California, U.S.A.  Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Today, TMI membership is 260,000 strong. These members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 12,500-plus clubs that make up our global network of meeting locations.

Al Khor Toastmasters was established in 2002 and is now celebrating 10th year of its inception. With members from different countries, cultures and from various walks of life, our meetings make it an interesting and learning experience.
